There’s always some disconnect when taking superheroines from the comic pages to the movie. Basically because when women are in comics- they all look like strippers so when they make movies about them- they all look like strippers (high class strippers mind you). This is the case with Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises.
I think Tim Burton understood this concept with Michelle Pfiefer. He just made her get licked by a bunch of cats and somehow get turned into a leather-clad hussy that made a lot fo cat-sex puns. That’s a movie for ya’
