Ok, so we have all seen the recent videos of Spider-Man, the Hulk, Captain America, Cyclops, Thor, and Iron Man from Marvel Comics right?……No?……The you my friend have been hiding under a rock!
Fear not though! here they are…..
Marvel Comics has just unveiled the details behind the upcoming “Fear Itself” event at New York’s Midtown Comics. Two teaser videos were shown much to the crowds delight and we were told the miniseries will hit stores in March.
Joe Quesada, Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer took the stand asking everyone – “What happens when fear gets so prevalent that it seems the norm?”
Matt Fraction (one of the creators) spoke about the series, adding that the Marvel heroes would be fighting the god of fear. “You will not feel underserved on any level,” Fraction said. “We are going to be busting the doors down with the biggest story we’ve ever told.” (Yeeeah son!)
One of the Executive Editors Tom Brevoort acknowledged that fans had asked for a break from big events and Marvel largely took the last year off, but is now returning with a story “as ambitious as ‘Civil War.’ (WTF!?) The series itself will be 7-issues, and Ed Brubaker will be writing a prelude with Cap and Namor, with a title to be named later.
So….if that isnt enough to get your geeky little knickers wet then you need to seriously ask yourself “what the F*@k am i doing reading this blog?”
