New pictures from the set of The Amazing Spiderman were recently released by The Daily Mail. While all of the other pictures have been of Spiderman webslinging or banging dudes, this set throws a nice curve ball at us. The new pictures show Rhys Ifans, who is playing Dr. Connors aka The Lizard, talking with Peter Parker. The first one shows him showing Parker something that looks like a mouse, this could also be a really sketchy mid-day heroine purchase. If this is the case it looks like it is going really poorly and Parker is about to be shot in the face…this would be a huge plot twist.
The more interesting photo is the second photo which appears to show Dr. Connors with a patch of lizard skin on his neck. Telling us what we already know, that he is becoming the Lizard. This could also be skin cancer. I personally think that Rhys got marked by some lady of the night. It appears as if the hooker gave him some form of superherpes, or planted eggs in his neck, both are strong possibilities. The location of the STD is strange because it is rare for a hooker to mark you on your neck, but they are a shifty bunch and nothing they do surprises me anymore. This would also explain the green arm condom he is wearing in the first photo. The reason for the green arm condom could also be to give Rhys the one arm look made famous by Dr. Connors and copied for years by the drummer of the Black Crows. I am still investigating the matter.
